Victorious Festival returns to Southsea

Once again the time has arrived for Southsea to host one of the biggest music festivals in the south of England, yes Victorious Festival is back this bank holiday weekend with some new artists and some returning artist as usual.

Headlining on Friday night is FATBOY SLIM from 21.35 until 22.55pm, before FATBOY SLIM are SNOW PATROL from 19.40 until 20.50.

One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson shows an appearance on Friday as well as do RAZORLIGHT all on the Common Stage so not a bad line up to kick off the festival, Jess Glynne is the headliner over on the Castle on Friday.

On Saturday on Castle Stage you have the delights of TORS, ECHOBELLY, ROYAL OTIS, SHAUN RYDER’S BLACK GRAPE, LIGHTNING SEEDS, THE AMAZONS, SUGABABES, PIXIES, I am personally looking forward to seeing the SAGABABES but unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control I am unable to attend, however my team will be there covering all of the action and perhaps I could attend next year.

The headliner for Saturday over on the Common Stage will be JAMIE T, other artists you may wish to see on the same stage will be CAMERON HAYES,TOM WALKER,CMAT,HOLLY HUMBERSTONE, THE LATHUMS, and COURTEENERS so let’s hope your music tastes have been covered if not then Sunday on the Common Stage may just engage you in music delight it starts off with BROOKE COMBE, THE KOOKS, RED RUM CLUB, then moving thing up a notch to take you into the final part of the festival on the Common Sate are YARD ACT, JAMES BAY, BECKY HILL and to finalise the weekend you have BIFFY CLYRO.

Where as on the Castle Stage you have the following artists some I have heard of some I have not starting with.

PERSONAL TRAINER, PANIC SHACK, HARVEY JAY DODSON, THE FUTUREHEADS, THE HUNNA, THE PIGEON DETECTIVES, SOFT PLAY, ARLO PARKS and the headliners are WET LEG. Please be reminded on Saturday on the Castle Stage you are treated to a secret set from 13.05 until 13.35, in previous years it was MACFLY.

Other stages throughout the weekend there are UNDER THE TREES, BIG TOP COMEDY featuring FRANKIE BOYLE (that will be interesting), Don’t forget to check out Southsea Skatepark while you are there, like with all festivals there is good security so for your own safety be wise No Food or alcohol to be taken on site look after yourselves and other people around you.
