Losing My Sight UK visit Mayor of Fareham
1 min readOn Friday 3rd May Losing My Sight UK had the pleasure to visit the Mayor of Fareham Cllr: Susan Bayford and her husband Brian.
It was a momentous visit as it turned out that we were to be the last visitor’s to their office due to the fact that there one year term was coming to an end.
During the visit Dave Taylor who is the current chairman of Losing My Sight UK presented the Mayor with two photographs that were chosen from the Mayor’s visit to Losing My Sight UK’s current visually impaired photography and book exhibition being held in Portchester library until 31st May.
Elena Sommers who is currently vice chairperson running LMS UK’s Basingstoke area accompanied Dave Taylor and also presented the Mayor with one of her published children books.
The Mayor was extremely grateful for both gifts and engaged in topics that LMS UK were doing throughout the year such as sailing archery power boating and of course our touring exhibition.
Losing My Sight UK will continue to tour with the exhibition until the end of the year having secured an additional exhibition space in Southampton and subject too future funding the exhibition will hopefully be expanded across Hampshire and the Home Counties.
